Experience
I earned a bachelor's in Neuroscience, with a concentration in Psychology, from Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. After graduation, I created an Honors Neuroscience secondary school course and taught the course and lab for a year. Many students reported that the class was challenging and sharpened their critical thinking skills more than any other class they attended. I've also taught K-8 science, at a science camp. I teach with a variety of learning tools, including visual images and music because they help my students learn and remember their lessons, but also videos and music. When I tutor, I always identify my student's learning style because it determines how I teach my lesson. I tutor in the following topic areas: Biology, AP Biology, Psychology, Essay Editing, Science, Social Studies, Life Sciences, Math, and Writing. When I am not teaching, I like to exercise, hike, bike, and meditate. I also write full length fantasy novels and maintain a blog where I post chapters that I have written for my fans. I live in Bethesda, Maryland.
