EducationGeorgetown University - BS, International Economics / Pre Med
ExperienceI have always been a hard-working, committed student, and I carry that ethic into my work as a tutor. I was a pre-med student at Georgetown University, where I also earned a bachelor's degree in International Economics at Georgetown's School of Foreign Service. I will enroll in Medical School in the fall, but have been involved with healthcare policy since graduating from Georgetown. While completing my undergraduate degree, I tutored students in Math, Statistics, Science, Economics, History, Writing, French, and tests like the ACT, SAT, and MCAT. I take great pleasure in seeing students make progress toward their academic goals. During tutoring sessions, I encourage my students to be active learners. I provide opportunities for students to dynamically involve themselves with the core concepts and issues of their studies. I try to impart the idea of supporting studies with real-life application to every student I work with. By building hard work and commitment into my lessons, I am able to get results that show up in test scores and grade reports. My personal time is committed to my passions and interests. I serve as a volunteer EMT, and I also sail, backpack, travel, and run to stay in shape.
