I am a current doctoral candidate in History at the University of Oxford, and I completed my B.A. in English and European History at Northwestern University in 2015 and my M.St. in British and European History at the University of Oxford in 2016. I have tutored students --both virtually and in person -- in writing and humanities subjects since 2015, and I have helped students improve their coursework and skills, gain admission to top universities, and win thousands of dollars in scholarships. In conjunction with my detail-oriented approach to writing and editing, I guide students through strategies that help them gain confidence and think critically throughout the writing process and many forms of academic analysis. Hobbies

I have always loved classical music, and I have been a clarinetist since the age of nine. Other hobbies include: cooking delicious food, walking my adorable dog, playing video games (particularly story-driven RPGs), and watching old movies. I also find it essential to have a sense of humor both within and beyond the classroom, and I hope that my quick wit and nerdy sense of humor put students and their families at ease.
