When I learn information, I try to understand it in as many ways as possible. When I teach information, I try to teach it in as many ways as possible. Every student learns differently. Sometimes, changing the perspective or the explanation can be the epiphany that a student needs in order to understand a concept. Nothing is more exciting and satisfying as seeing a student understand a concept they did not previously understand. I have been tutoring since I was in elementary school. Students from lower grades would come to my teacher's classroom after school and I would help them with math. I am very comfortable teaching in many different styles and environments, and can help students increase their confidence in their own intelligence and reach their potential.
